Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Application Architect III to lead the design, delivery, and evolution of cloud-based, AI-enabled data integration and analytics platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Informatica on-prem, Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS), Azure cloud architecture, and AI/ML-enabled data engineering and a proven ability to drive scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions across hybrid environments.

Responsibilities:

• Lead architectural decisions for Informatica platforms on-prem and in cloud, including AI-driven data capabilities.


• Design and implement cloud-native data architectures on Azure with integration to Azure Active Directory.


• Deliver AI/ML-enabled data pipelines that support analytics, model training, and intelligent applications.


• Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines across multiple Orgs and SubOrgs for data integration workloads.


• Ensure data replication and availability across S3-compatible object storage, local file systems, and NAS.


• Implement operational monitoring and ITSM processes for incident, problem, change, and service requests in cloud environments.


• Optimize performance, cost, and scalability for cloud data workloads with strong observability practices.


• Provide governance, mentorship, and technical leadership across data, cloud, and AI initiatives.


• Partner with Product, Application, Software Engineering, Cloud Infrastructure, and Data Science teams for end-to-end solution delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong hands-on expertise with Informatica on-prem and Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS), including secure agents and hybrid/cloud deployment models.


• Proficiency designing solutions on Azure and integrating with Azure Active Directory.


• Experience building AI/ML-enabled data pipelines for analytics and model training.


• Hands-on implementation of CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments, Orgs, and SubOrgs.


• Knowledge of data replication across S3-compatible object storage, local file systems, and NAS.


• Experience with Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Request Management in cloud operations.


• Expertise in performance optimization, cost management, and scaling cloud data workloads.


• Ability to mentor teams on cloud, data engineering, and AI data best practices within a shared services or platform model.


• Experience level: 8+ years in data integration, cloud architecture, or platform engineering roles.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with Operational Insights, cloud monitoring, and AI-driven observability.


• Background in Agile delivery and solution design governance for data platforms.
