Job Description

Are you a kind, reliable person looking for a meaningful role in your local area? At Home Instead East Hampshire, we deliver exceptional, person-centred care to older adults across Liphook and the surrounding villages — helping them live independently, with dignity, in their own homes.

We’re proud to serve our local community with warmth, respect, and a personal touch — and we’d love you to join our supportive team.

As a Care Professional, you'll provide tailored, unhurried support that makes a real difference. Your daily visits could include:

  • Companionship – chatting, sharing stories, reducing loneliness

  • Personal care – supporting with washing, dressing, and hygiene

  • Medication assistance – prompting or helping with prescribed medication

  • Meal preparation – helping clients enjoy healthy meals

  • Light housekeeping – tidying, laundry, and keeping homes safe

  • Mobility support – helping with walking, gentle exercise, or movement

  • Errands and outings – driving to appointments, shopping, or social events

All visits are a minimum of one hour, so there’s time to build trust and deliver care that feels personal and meaningful.

Benefits
We value and support our Care Professionals with a full range of benefits:

  • Minimum 1-hour visits – no rushing, just quality care

  • Consistent clients – build long-term relationships

  • Flexible part-time hours – work around your lifestyle

  • Mileage paid – we cover travel between clients

  • Local work – Alton, Fourmarks, Bordon, Froyle etc.

  • Full training provided – no experience needed

  • No uniform – promoting a relaxed, friendly approach

  • Ongoing support – 24/7 access to a caring team

  • Blue Light Card eligibility – national discount scheme

  • High street and online employee discounts

  • Career development – training and progression opportunities

If you’re passionate about helping others and want to work close to home in Alton or the surrounding villages, we’d love to hear from you.

At present, we can only consider applicants who hold a valid driving licence and have access to their own vehicle.

Please note: All roles are subject to an enhanced DBS check and proof of right to work in the UK.

Apply today and start a rewarding career where you’ll truly make a difference in your community.
