Tax Director - Sales & Use/Indirect

Job DescriptionWe are currently recruiting for a Director of Sales & Use Tax/Indirect to join a large corporation headquartered here in Miami. This role will report to the VP of Tax and assist with indirect tax.

There are excellent opportunities for growth and career advancement.\nResponsibilities:\n\n Prepare monthly and quarterly sales and use tax returns\n Maintain the Sales and Use Tax calendar\n Assist in updating sales and use tax charts\n Reconcile sales/use tax payments to GL Accounts\n Resolve tax notices sent by local taxing authorities\n Various related duties as needed\n\nRequirements:\n\n Bachelors degree in accounting or related field (Masters in tax and/or CPA preferred)\n 7+ years of experience with sales & use tax\n Strong communication skills and attention to detail\n
