Job Summary:
As a Pipe Welder your expertise in welding will be pivotal in fabricating and joining metal pipes and components. Your skills will ensure the integrity and quality of welds in accordance with engineering specifications and industry standards. Safety is paramount, and youll adhere rigorously to safety protocol while maintaining a clean and organized work area.
Major Duties Responsibilities
- Proficiently perform various welding techniques, including TIG, MIG, and SMAW, to join metal pipes and components with precision and structural integrity.
- Prepare pipes and materials for welding, including cutting, beveling, and cleaning surfaces to achieve proper fit-up.
- Inspect completed welds using non-destructive testing methods to ensure adherence to industry standards and project specifications.
Essential Skills Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in aluminum welding techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications accurately.
- Skilled in fabricating and assembling metal structures with precision.
- Strong knowledge of safety protocols and practices in welding.
- Capable of conducting weld inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
