The Role

• Design and implement a comprehensive Reinsurer Engagement strategic plan aligned with business needs, revenue growth, and client objectives.
• Clearly define and communicate relationship priorities, develop action plans, and ensure consistent follow-up with reinsurers.
• Monitor and document key outcomes from executive meetings, ensuring action items are addressed and progress is reported.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop content for strategy meetings and track external messaging to inform planning.
• Analyze reinsurer performance and market data to inform strategic placements and engagement tactics.
• Support revenue growth by aligning reinsurer appetite with specific placement needs.
• Facilitate reinsurer surveys to gather feedback for internal evaluations and drive outcome improvement.

What You'll Need

• University degree in Economics, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field.
• Over 10 years of experience in insurance/reinsurance or financial services, with a strong preference for reinsurance expertise.
• Proven ability to manage reinsurer relationships and lead business intelligence initiatives.
• Solid understanding of reinsurance structures, capital markets, and regulatory frameworks.
• Exceptional organizational, communication, and presentation skills, with experience engaging C-suite executives.
• A collaborative approach, strong strategic thinking, and a passion for innovation.
