Location: Alpharetta, GA – Hybrid (3 Days Onsite)

Job Description:

Seeking an experienced AWS DevOps / Kubernetes Engineer to support mission-critical enterprise applications, microservices deployments, cloud infrastructure, automation, and production releases. Telecom domain experience, especially former Verizon experience, is highly preferred.

Required Skills:

  • 7+ years deploying Java / Spring Boot microservices in Kubernetes environments.

  • 4+ years of AWS Cloud experience.

  • 3+ years of Kubernetes, Docker, cluster management, and containerization.

  • Terraform, CloudFormation, YAML scripting, and infrastructure automation.

  • CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Git/Stash, and Fortify.

  • 3+ years of Linux/Unix and Apache Tomcat.

  • Agile development and DevOps practices.

  • Oracle Database, complex SQL queries, and performance tuning.

  • Application monitoring, troubleshooting, security compliance, and SOX audit requirements.

  • Experience using AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot, Gemini, or Claude.

Preferred Skills:

  • Telecom domain / Verizon experience.

  • Kafka, IBM MQ, JSON, Apache Camel, and Apigee.

  • LLM integration with Java/Spring Boot microservices.

  • Agentic AI and generative AI tools.
