This employer is a leading manufacturer in the food industry, renowned for producing popular snack brands. They are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Lead to join their production line team and contribute to operational excellence in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

The Role

• Lead daily maintenance planning, scheduling, and execution for a production line.
• Review and prioritize maintenance incidents and equipment stops daily.
• Plan and conduct maintenance and repairs during scheduled downtime to minimize disruptions.
• Develop and manage monthly maintenance schedules aligned with the annual maintenance plan.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the maintenance department.
• Champion engineering standards and provide technical training and support to the team.

What You'll Need

• Formal engineering qualification (HNC/ONC or equivalent) in mechanical and/or electrical disciplines.
• 18th Edition wiring regulations qualification.
• Strong expertise in fault-finding, troubleshooting, and diagnostic skills.
• Experience with PLC automation and Lean manufacturing tools/techniques.
• Knowledge of COSHH regulations and safe working practices.
• Ability to train and coach others effectively within a team.
