Job Description

The Company:

A highly respected and professional Wealth Management firm with ambitious growth plans.

The Role:

The Facilities Manager will provide support, consultancy and advice to management in delivering all aspects related to facilities management and health and safety for the London office. To ensure that the Wealth Management firm remains compliant with all appropriate regulations.

The Facilities Manager will design, deliver and communicate on Health and Safety procedures

Management of the London reception team. Ensure that all forms of Risk Assessments including DSE and Fire Risk Assessment are conducted across all relevant offices and to follow up on action points

The Facilities Manager will ensure that the London office has the relevant quota of fully trained staff with regards to First Aid, Fire and Health and Safety in general and to organise training if require, and ensure relevant office notices are up-to-date.

Organise and liaise with contractors generally to ensure that the office building is in a good state of repair and that contractors follow safe working practices whilst on company premises.

The Facilities Manager will oversee the office is complying with fire safety regulations and organise fire evacuations. Be responsible for liaising with furniture and ergonomic equipment suppliers to order and renew any equipment. To liaise with Landlords and / or Managing Agents on commercial lease responsibilities. Project manage building refurbishments and office moves on behalf of the business.

The Facilities Manager will process Value Office Agency requests for rent, lease and ownership details.

The Facilities Manager will manage Reception staff and will agree and monitor holiday, sickness, and any other form of absence from the office. Be confident at setting goals for the Reception team and holding regular 121s. Monitor staff performance on an ongoing basis providing constructive feedback, recognising good performance and escalating concerns if necessary.

The Candidate

5 years Facilities Management experience within a Corporate Office environment.

Some Management experience with direct reports

Proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook

Relevant Qualification IOSH or NEBOSH or equivalent

Ideally a Membership of the Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management to clearly demonstrate competence for the facilities management role with a clear understanding of project management practices

Knowledge of Health & Safety management standards

Knowledge of the construction design and management process

Excellent knowledge of internal procedures and processes
