Job Title: Senior IT Program Scheduler

Location: Olympia, WA (Onsite once in a month)

Type: Contract

 

AgreeYa is a global Systems Integrator and is seeking an experienced Senior IT Program Scheduler to join our growing team.

 

Client note:

Seeking a Senior IT Program Scheduler to support a large-scale Workers Compensation System Modernization (WCSM) Program involving the replacement of 100+ legacy systems. The resource will own the program-level integrated schedule, critical path analysis, resource planning, risk tracking, schedule reporting, and coordination across multiple projects and workstreams.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the Program Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) using Microsoft Project.
  • Integrate schedules across multiple projects, workstreams, PMs, SMEs, and stakeholders.
  • Perform critical path, dependency, resource, baseline, and schedule variance analysis.
  • Identify and track schedule risks, issues, dependencies, and impacts.
  • Prepare weekly schedule reports and monthly program status reports.
  • Support PMO governance meetings, steering committees, and stakeholder communications.
  • Develop and maintain the Program Schedule Management Plan.
  • Establish scheduling standards and provide Microsoft Project coaching/knowledge transfer.
  • Provide schedule forecasts, recommendations, and escalation of potential delays.

 

Must-Have Skills

  • 8+ years of experience in project/program scheduling or PMO.
  • Advanced hands-on experience with Microsoft Project.
  • Strong experience with Integrated Master Scheduling (IMS).
  • Expertise in:
    • Critical Path Analysis
    • Schedule/Dependency Management
    • Resource Planning
    • Baseline Management
    • Schedule Variance Analysis
    • Risk & Issue Management
    • Schedule Forecasting
  • Experience coordinating schedules across multiple projects/workstreams.
  • Strong PMO governance and executive-level reporting experience.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

 

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with large-scale IT modernization/transformation programs.
  • Government/public-sector experience.
  • Experience with legacy system replacement or modernization.
  • Workers compensation, insurance, healthcare, or other regulated-industry experience.
  • Experience with Waterfall, Agile, or Hybrid methodologies.
  • PMP, PMI-SP, or other scheduling/project management certification.
  • Experience developing Schedule Management Plans and mentoring project teams.
