Job description

Job Description Job Description

Lexington Union is the hospitality group behind The Astorian, Le Tesserae, Aperitivo, Parlor at Hawthorne, Tapestry and Jackson & Company. We are hiring a Social Media Manager to own how six distinct brands show up online, and to create the photography and video that carries them.

This is a strategy role with a camera in it. You decide what gets made, you make most of it, and you publish it.

WHAT YOU OWN

• Social media strategy across the portfolio - channel mix, positioning, posting cadence and content direction for each brand

• The content calendar. You decide what gets produced, for which brand, and when, and you set priorities against what the

business needs that month

• Publishing authority. You post without per-post approval, working within our brand standards rather than waiting on sign-off

• A content production budget, including engaging and directing freelance photographers and videographers for large events and

overflow

• Original creative concepts for each brand - six venues that should not look like each other

• Performance. You own the analytics and you change the strategy based on what they tell you

• Partner, planner and influencer collaborations, including negotiating and managing the content side of those relationships

WHAT YOU MAKE

• Photography and videography on site at our venues and events

• Editing and post-production for social, web and email

• Content capture at live events, including weddings, corporate functions and restaurant service

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Demonstrated experience shooting and editing professional photo and video - a portfolio matters more than a résumé here

• Confident operating professional camera and audio equipment. We provide the equipment; you need to know how to use it

• Strong editing skills in Adobe Premiere, Lightroom and Photoshop, or equivalent

• Judgment about brand voice, and the ability to hold six different ones apart

• Hospitality, restaurant or events experience is an advantage

• Willingness to work evenings and weekends. Our business happens when our guests are out, and the content has to be captured

then

EQUIPMENT

We purchase and own the camera, lenses, audio and editing software. You do not need to supply your own gear.

COMPENSATION

$48,000 to $54,000 annually, depending on experience. Salaried, exempt. Reports to the Director of Marketing.
