Setting Out Engineer

Job Title: Site Engineer Location: Sheffield - working on a major project in Sheffield city centre Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per year depending on experience, plus package and car allowance Role: As a Civil Setting Out Engineer, you will perform setting out work for a well organised Civils contractor on an important scheme. Working closely with the PM and Site Manager, you will assist in running the job to a high standard and performing works to high level, safely and on budget. This position is ideal for a Setting Out Engineer that is looking to perfect their craft and move to the next level.

Requirements:

3 years + experience as a Setting out on civils projects in the UK<br />CSCSResponsibilities: Supervising Works when needed<br />Attend in-house progress meetings<br />Setting out and surveying of the site<br />Setting up and maintaining site control<br />Setting Out Sites and Organising Facilities<br />Ensuring compliance with works standards<br />To Ensure work is completed to the correct quality<br />Attend Team Briefs &amp; carry out briefings when needed<br />Checking and Preparing Site Reports, Designs and Drawings<br />Liaising With Clients, Subcontractors and Other Professional Staff<br />Ensure site progress pictures are taken and filed during each stake of the development<br />Setting out for civils, highways &amp; infrastructure schemes Please apply online to be considered for this role Max Blake - Recruitment Consultant - (phone number removed)
