This is an opportunity to work on real-world autonomy challenges at the intersection of computer vision, machine learning, robotics, and aerospace. You'll develop perception capabilities that transform raw sensor data into actionable intelligence, enabling autonomous systems to detect objects, understand complex environments, and make informed decisions in dynamic operating conditions.

Perception Pipeline Development

\n

\n
• Build and own key perception infrastructure including video pipelines, data management systems, and training environments.
\n
• Design and implement real-time computer vision algorithms for high-resolution cameras, depth sensors, and multi-modal sensor inputs.
\n
• Develop object detection, image segmentation, depth estimation, and multi-object tracking capabilities.
\n
• Train, fine-tune, and evaluate machine learning models for scene understanding and 3D occupancy mapping.
\n

Machine Learning and AI

\n

\n
• Build scalable workflows for data collection, curation, labeling, and model training.
\n
• Optimize AI models for deployment on edge computing platforms.
\n
• Integrate perception outputs into autonomy, planning, and control systems.
\n
• Validate performance through simulation and real-world hardware testing.
\n

Required Qualifications

\n

\n
• Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
\n
• 2-5 years of relevant industry experience.
\n
• Strong C++ software development skills.
\n
• Experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or similar deep learning frameworks.
\n
• Strong understanding of classical and 3D computer vision principles.
\n
• Experience deploying machine learning models on edge hardware such as NVIDIA Jetson.
\n

Preferred Qualifications

\n
• Master's or PhD in a related field.
\n
• ROS2 experience.
\n
• Services-oriented architecture experience.
\n
• Experience with the Isaac sim ecosystem.
\n
• Familiarity with Kubeflow, Airflow, Metaflow, or similar ML infrastructure tools.
