Job description

Rubrik Technical Consultant (Data Protection, Backup, Disaster Recovery) - Contract Remote, UK

Leading technology provider of data protection and enterprise backup solutions are looking for an experienced and customer focused technical consultant to provide professional services delivery. This will be working as part of a team on a range of projects including implementation and managed services of Rubrik as a product and solution. This will be working closely with enterprise level clients in a technical lead capacity on projects implementing complex data protection and disaster recovery solutions. The role will involve implementation, troubleshoot any issues, escalate with Vendors and the broader operations team. Writing, understanding and delivering detailed Statements of Work. You will create both high level and low-level designs along with technical documentation assisting the pre-sales and broader support areas.

For this role you will need to have a proven technical background and understanding of Rubrik Backup and Disaster Recovery. You will need an understanding of ITIL processes and ISO27001. Equally you will understand Microsoft 365, Azure / AWS Public Cloud as well as technical knowledge of VMWare, Hyper-V and Nutanix. You will have in-depth knowledge of Microsoft and Linux operating systems ideally with some knowledge of scripting (Powershell). The role is working closely with clients and will need excellent communication skills and experience of client engagement.
