Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Experience Cloud Developer to design, develop, customize, and maintain digital experiences and customer-facing portals using Salesforce Experience Cloud (formerly Community Cloud). The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Salesforce platform development, portal customization, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex, and integrations with external systems.

The candidate will be responsible for building secure, scalable, and user-friendly digital experiences for customers, partners, and employees while ensuring seamless integration with Salesforce CRM and other enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, and maintain Salesforce Experience Cloud sites, portals, and communities.

• Build and customize customer, partner, and employee portals using Salesforce Experience Builder.

• Develop reusable Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Aura Components to enhance portal functionality and user experience.

• Develop and maintain Apex Classes, Triggers, Controllers, and Visualforce components as required.

• Configure Experience Cloud features, including user registration, login, authentication, profiles, roles, and permissions.

• Implement Salesforce security models, including Sharing Sets, Sharing Rules, Permission Sets, and external user access controls.

• Customize portal layouts, navigation, themes, branding, and responsive user interfaces.

• Integrate Experience Cloud with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and external applications using REST/SOAP APIs.

• Work with Salesforce objects, data models, workflows, Flows, and automation to support business requirements.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues related to Experience Cloud applications.

• Perform unit testing, integration testing, deployment, and production support.

• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, QA teams, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

• Follow Salesforce development best practices, coding standards, security guidelines, and deployment processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Salesforce development.

• Hands-on experience with Salesforce Experience Cloud (Community Cloud).

• Strong experience with Experience Builder and portal/community customization.

• Proficiency in Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura Components, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

• Strong knowledge of Apex, SOQL, SOSL, Apex Triggers, and asynchronous Apex.

• Experience with Salesforce configuration, including custom objects, fields, validation rules, Flows, and automation.

• Understanding of Salesforce security, user management, profiles, roles, permission sets, and sharing mechanisms.

• Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems using REST and SOAP APIs.

• Knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.

• Experience with Salesforce deployment tools such as Salesforce CLI, Change Sets, and DevOps/CI/CD pipelines.

• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Salesforce Platform Developer I or Platform Developer II certification.

• Salesforce Experience Cloud Consultant certification.

• Experience implementing customer self-service portals, partner portals, or employee communities.

• Knowledge of SSO, OAuth, SAML, and identity management.

• Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

• Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, Copado, Gearset, or other Salesforce DevOps tools.
