We are seeking a motivated and skilled Product Solution Engineer with 1+ years of experience to join our dynamic team at PhonePe. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in production support, troubleshooting, and automation. This role requires a proactive problem-solver who can maintain system stability, automate manual tasks, and effectively bridge the gap between technical operations and business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and fix production software issues efficiently

• Develop and own monitoring solutions for both production and non-production environments and applications

• Develop smaller complexity features and enhancements in existing stable system components

• Adapt installers, shell scripts, and Perl scripts to aggressively automate manual tasks

• Provide valuable feedback from customer users to the internal engineering and product teams

• Maintain an ongoing record of problem analysis and resolution activity in an on-call tracking system

Required Qualifications:

• 1 to 3 years of relevant professional experience

• Proven success working in a fast-paced production support environment

• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in writing, with a successful track record of responding to and resolving customer issues

• Excellent written and oral communication skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to effectively work and collaborate with cross-functional teams

• Possess the ability to understand business problems and provide data, solutions, or information related to business requirements

Technical Skills:

• Scripting & Automation: Strong knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl, Shell script) required

• Databases: Good exposure to MySQL with the ability to write and understand complex SQL joins

• Programming Languages: Experience in any programming language (C++, Java, or RubyOnRails is a strong plus)

• Systems: On-call tracking systems and production monitoring solutions
