Honeywell is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join its Portsmouth site on a contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineering professional with strong 3D CAD experience and a background in manufacturing process improvement to support production operations within a leading global technology and engineering organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate and develop 3D CAD models to support manufacturing requirements.
• Plan, design and optimise manufacturing processes within the production environment.
• Analyse equipment layouts, workflows, assembly methods and workforce utilisation to maximise efficiency and productivity.
• Identify and specify the parts, tooling and equipment required to achieve manufacturing objectives.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, cost and delivery performance.
• Ensure manufacturing processes meet product specifications and business requirements.
• Work closely with production, engineering and quality teams to improve operational performance.

Essential Requirements

• Proven experience in a Manufacturing Engineer or similar engineering role.
• Strong proficiency in 3D CAD modelling.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes, production methods and workflow optimisation.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Experience analysing manufacturing layouts, tooling and assembly processes.
• Degree-qualified in Engineering or a related discipline is advantageous.
• Ability to demonstrate practical experience and proven capability within a manufacturing environment.

Additional Information

• Pay Rate: £30.00 - £35.00 per hour (depending on experience)
• Location: Walton Road, Portsmouth, Hampshire, SO61SZ
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:45pm
• Drug Screening: Mandatory prior to commencement
