Role Summary
We are seeking an IT Operations Project Manager to lead critical infrastructure and ServiceNow initiatives within a complex enterprise environment. This role is responsible for driving projects from planning through implementation and closeout while ensuring alignment among technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.
This position requires a hands on Project Manager who is comfortable discussing infrastructure concepts with engineers and architects while remaining focused on governance, execution, communication, and delivery. The ideal candidate can quickly take ownership of active projects, establish credibility with stakeholders, and maintain momentum across multiple workstreams.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage enterprise infrastructure projects from initiation through implementation and closeout
• Assume ownership of active projects already in progress and ensure seamless execution continuity
• Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, RAID logs, action plans, and status reports
• Lead project meetings, working sessions, implementation planning activities, and stakeholder reviews
• Coordinate cross functional technical teams including engineers, architects, vendors, and business partners
• Manage project risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, decisions, and change requests
• Support infrastructure cutovers, migrations, refreshes, modernization efforts, and deployment activities
• Track deliverables, timelines, ownership, and completion status to ensure project commitments are met
• Escalate blockers and drive timely issue resolution across project teams
• Maintain governance documentation, project artifacts, implementation plans, and closeout materials
• Facilitate decision making and alignment between business and technical stakeholders
• Prepare executive level project communications, status updates, and reporting materials
Key Requirements
• 5 plus years of Project Management experience supporting enterprise technology initiatives
• Proven experience managing ServiceNow projects with this experience clearly demonstrated on the resume
• Experience managing large scale infrastructure projects involving network, cloud, compute, storage, or data center environments
• Ability to quickly take ownership of projects already in flight and establish execution leadership
• Strong experience managing RAID logs, project schedules, executive reporting, and stakeholder communications
• Ability to understand technical infrastructure concepts without serving as a hands on engineer
• Experience coordinating multiple concurrent workstreams across large enterprise environments
• Strong vendor management and third party coordination experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Microsoft Teams, Smartsheet, Jira, or similar project management platforms
• Excellent facilitation, organization, follow through, and meeting management skills
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical discussions into business friendly messaging
• Ability to build credibility with engineers, architects, technical leaders, and executive stakeholders
