BI Developer

Resource 1 is seeking a BI Developer for a fully remote contract position. Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience as a BI Developer and should have experience working with different BI tools, such as Tableau and Power BI.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain BI solutions, including dashboards, reports, and data models using BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business needs.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and create compelling data visualizations that drive business insights.
• Receive data sets from Data Engineers and create visualizations.
• Make updates to existing dashboards.
• Document report specifications and development processes for knowledge transfer and future reference.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement enhancements to existing BI solutions.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as a BI Developer.
• Proficiency with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in creating data visualizations that tell a clear and compelling story.
