Senior Financial Messaging & Middleware Engineer

Descriptions:
Role - Senior Financial Messaging & Middleware Engineer (Financial Messaging & Middleware Engineer (FIX / SWIFT)
Responsible for architecture, engineering, automation, security, modernization, and operational support of enterprise FIX and SWIFT messaging platforms across Linux, OpenShift/Kubernetes, cloud, and appliance-based environments supporting critical financial market infrastructure.
6+ years supporting middleware, financial messaging, or distributed systems. Strong experience with Broadridge Appia, QuickFIX, FIX Protocol, SWIFT Alliance Access (SAA), SWIFT Alliance Gateway (SAG), SWIFT FIN/FINPlInterAct/FileAct, ISO 15022 (MT), ISO 20022 (MX), OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Terraform, Ansible, CI/CD, Linux, and scripting.
Design, engineer, deploy, and support FIX and SWIFT messaging platforms. Install, configure, and maintain SWIFT infrastructure components and financial messaging services. Support message routing, connectivity, security controls, encryption, and compliance requirements. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, cloud-native and containerized solutions. Lead platform modernization, automation, resiliency, and disaster recovery initiatives. Perform root cause analysis and incident/problem management. Develop engineering standards, architecture documentation, and operational procedures. Collaborate across infrastructure, security, cloud, and application teams.
SWIFT certifications, SWIFT CSP compliance experience, highly available FIX/SWIFT architectures, financial messaging environments, MQ/Kafka/API integrations, financial markets experience, and cloud transformation initiatives.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
