Sr. Data Engineer

Description:

• 5+ years' experience working with data warehousing, IICS and snowflake DBT development.
• 5+ years' experience combined experience with any of the following database technologies (RDBMS: MSSQL, MySQL Oracle; NoSQL: MarkLogic, Snowflake, DynamoDB, Redis).
• 3 years' experience working on large data initiatives (>5 terabytes).
• Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL) as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases.
• Experience building and optimizing IICS data pipelines, architectures and data sets.
• Experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Build processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency and workload management.
• Working knowledge of version control systems (e.g. SVN, Git)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3+ years of experience in a Data Engineer role, who has attained a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Informatics, Information Systems or another quantitative field.
• AWS: 1 year experience
• DevOps Practices: 1 year experience
• 3+ years' experience working with data warehousing, ETL development and ETL architecture.
• 3+ years' experience combined experience with any of the following database technologies (RDBMS: MSSQL, MySQL Oracle; NoSQL: MarkLogic, Snowflake, DynamoDB, Redis).
• 3 years' experience working on large data initiatives (>5 terabytes).
