Service Technician I | Manchester, CT, United States | On-site

The Role

  • Respond to trouble tickets to ensure application uptime and system performance.
  • Diagnose and resolve application issues both independently and as part of a team.
  • Execute preventative maintenance to maximize application availability and identify system faults.
  • Perform routine configuration changes, including user permissions and application settings.
  • Document all system modifications accurately in a digital change control system.
  • Produce technical documentation for system deployments, suitable for both technical and non-technical audiences.

What You'll Need

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience installing and troubleshooting low voltage equipment.
  • Strong working knowledge of commercial access control, CCTV, burglary alarm, intrusion, and fire alarm systems.
  • Working knowledge of network communications and IP addressing.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and time management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
