Software Engineer (React/Node.js) - Hybrid

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Software Engineer (React/Node.js) for a contract position with a Leading Consumer Electronics Retailer located in Richfield, MN. This is an 11+ month contract opportunity.
Compensation: $62.00 - $71.00 per hour, W2, based on qualifications
Position Overview:
This role is part of the Loyalty/Membership team, which manages member experiences including offers, rewards, and points for paid members and credit card holders. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing data and providing appropriate customer experiences across all channels including web, mobile app, and point of sale, utilizing technologies like React.js, Node.js, and React Native.
Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Product Managers/BSA to understand requirements on features and improvements
• Build web components using React JS and Node JS
• Build mobile app components using React Native
• Build and optimize web applications and platforms in a cloud environment with a solid understanding of system design
• Triage and manage complex, production issues
• Test both back-end REST API and front-end based applications
• Write stories and bugs for developers to work from

Primary Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience with React JS/Node JS related web technologies
• 5+ years of experience with Restful API
• 3+ years of experience with the Agile development process
• 5+ years of experience with production triage and issue identification
• 2+ years of experience with React Native
• Experience using one or more of the following: GraphQL, Git, NPM, Yarn, Babel, Webpack, Typescript, Jest, Mocha, Chai, Cypress, React Query, Tan Stack, Apollo Client, React Hooks, Fetch API, Lighthouse, Fastify, Koa, Chrome dev tools
• Understanding of Agile processes, CI/CD, and other development processes

Desired Skills:

• Knowledge of database technologies
• Front-end automation testing
• Experience working with different teams to drive work and triage issues
• Ability to analyze logs using tools like Splunk or Kibana
