Network Engineer - 174996 with Security Clearance

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Network Engineer to support a company focused on enterprise network modernization and secure communications projects within a defense environment supporting mission-critical operations. This position is on-site in Quantico, VA. The Network Engineer will design, implement, and support secure network infrastructure with a focus on VPN and firewall solutions. Join a team delivering resilient network capabilities that directly support operational mission success. Responsibilities for the Network Engineer include:

• Design, implement, and maintain VPN solutions across enterprise environments
• Engineer, configure, and optimize firewall platforms to meet security and performance requirements
• Support network infrastructure projects from planning through deployment and sustainment
• Troubleshoot complex network issues and provide root cause analysis
• Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to ensure secure and reliable network operations

Required Qualifications for the Network Engineer include:

• 7+ years of experience in network engineering, administration, or related infrastructure support
• Hands-on experience with VPN technologies, firewall design, implementation, and management
• Strong knowledge of routing, switching, network security, and troubleshooting methodologies
• Active Secret clearance
• IAT Level III certification

Compensation for the Network Engineer includes:

• Salary Range: $130,000-155,000 depending on experience
