Compliance Expert (m/f/d)

Your Responsibilities
- Support international expansion: Advise business and product teams on regulatory requirements for market entry and international expansion, conduct regulatory assessments for new products, services, markets and business models, and support licensing analyses and regulatory coordination across jurisdictions.
- Drive product governance: Develop, implement and maintain the product governance framework, ensuring regulatory requirements are embedded throughout the product lifecycle and supporting product launches, developments and significant changes.
- Strengthen governance and risk management: Establish and oversee effective governance, risk, monitoring and reporting processes within the product environment, ensuring timely and sustainable implementation of regulatory requirements.
- Connect stakeholders: Act as a trusted interface between the 1st and 2nd line of defense and foster collaboration between local and group-wide stakeholders to address regulatory requirements effectively.
- Drive AI and automation: Identify and implement opportunities within the compliance function to digitalize, automate and scale compliance processes through innovative technologies and AI, while establishing appropriate standards, governance requirements and controls for their use.
- Shape the future of Compliance: Support the selection, implementation and monitoring of compliance technology solutions and promote innovation, knowledge sharing and best practices to build a technology-enabled, data-driven and future-oriented compliance function.
Your Profile:
- Completed studies in the field of economics, law, IT or comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in the field of compliance of a bank or payment institution, ideally with a focus on product governance and/or standardization and automation
- Very good knowledge of relevant legal and financial regulatory requirements (e.g. EBA guidelines, EU regulations and EU directives such as PSD3, CCD2, AMLR, etc.)
- Experience in working with digital tools and automation solutions
- Analytical thinking, structured way of working and a high level of initiative
- Strong communication skills and strong ability to work in a team
- Very good knowledge of German and English
