Job description

Who We Are

Fueled by passion, KAYALI was founded in 2018 by beauty mogul and fragrance fanatic, Mona Kattan. Translating to ‘my imagination’ in Arabic, KAYALI provides a modern fragrance experience inspired by Mona’s rich Middle Eastern heritage and the art of layering scents to help you create your mood; where sharing scents is a ritual and smelling good is both an act of goodwill and self-love. Mona collaborates with some of the world’s most renowned perfumers and sources the finest ingredients to create unique juices that are infinitely memorable, long-lasting, and cruelty-free. Each luxurious fragrance is an ode to true craftsmanship and tells a special story, from the addictive notes to the multi-faceted jeweled bottles.

Our Mission

To make everyone feel like the diamond they are! To build a global community of fragrance lovers through the power of scent and by providing them with the most innovative & luxurious fragrances, education and sharing our Middle Eastern fragrance rituals with the world.

Summary

KAYALI is seeking an Account Manager to grow our business across specialty retail and e-commerce pure players in the UK and Europe. Based in our London office, you will take ownership of an account portfolio, build strong retailer partnerships and deliver commercial plans that support the wider regional business. This role combines forecasting and budgeting with hands-on analysis, creative problem-solving and close collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

  • Own and execute account plans to achieve sales targets, grow revenue and support profitable performance across your UK and European portfolio.
  • Build strong retailer relationships, lead regular business reviews and identify opportunities across assortment, distribution, visibility and promotional activity.
  • Coordinate account priorities with internal Sales, Marketing, Trade Marketing, E-commerce, Finance and Supply Chain teams, ensuring clear actions and timely delivery.
  • Maintain accurate product, pricing and assortment information, coordinating new product listings and updates with retailers and internal stakeholders.
  • Plan fragrance launches with cross-functional teams, using competitor sets, category performance, customer insights and retailer KPIs to inform recommendations and evaluate results.
  • Proactively identify incremental sales opportunities and propose practical actions, including when accounts are already performing well.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity and consumer preferences across the UK and Europe, translating findings into actionable account recommendations.
  • Balance priorities across accounts and contribute to regional plans, working with colleagues to address performance gaps and support overall business targets.
  • Own account forecasts, budgets and sales projections; review actual performance against plan, investigate variances and maintain accurate data and assumptions.
  • Establish KPIs with various partners aligned with business objectives and commercial targets. Regularly review performance against agreed deliverables, recommending adjustments to optimise results and business impact.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure alignment and consistency across commercial activities, promotional plans, pricing strategies and brand messaging.
  • Analyze sell-in, sell-out, stock levels, availability and promotional performance to identify risks, improve forecast accuracy and recommend corrective actions.
  • Deliver clear performance updates and recommendations, highlighting opportunities, risks and proposed solutions for the wider team.
  • Build and improve Excel tools, reporting templates and ways of working; independently learn new tools and contribute to wider Sales team projects as needed.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant account management or sales experience, preferably within fragrance; beauty and wellness backgrounds will also be considered. Experience managing European markets is essential, alongside an understanding of the UK retail landscape.
  • Proven success owning retailer relationships and delivering sales targets, forecasts and budgets. Experience with specialty retailers and/or e-commerce pure players is relevant; candidates do not need experience across every channel.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and manage competing account priorities.
  • Commercial understanding of fragrance or beauty retail, including launches, competitor benchmarking, assortment, promotions and retailer performance metrics.
  • Strong analytical judgment and attention to detail, with the ability to turn accurate data into clear insights, practical solutions and commercial actions.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including formulas, data analysis and building reporting templates; confident using PowerPoint and learning new systems independently.
  • Curious, proactive and driven to find growth opportunities, with a collaborative mindset and an understanding of how individual accounts contribute to the wider business. Resourceful and open to using AI and other tools to improve efficiency and learning.
  • Premium Medical/Dental/Vision coverage
  • Find your Magic Days
  • Volunteer Day
  • Birthday Leave

  • Employee discounts on all Kayali products
  • Quarterly product gifting
