Account Manager / Client Relations – Manpower

Manpower is currently partnering with an national service center, located in Overland Park, that sells refurbished office equipment and accessories to companies throughout the domestic US.  Due to growth, the company is looking to hire an Account Manager / Customer Relations professional to help grow their business operations.

In this position, you’ll be serving as the primary contact for customers when they inquire about existing orders, place new orders or learn about the array of additional services offered.  In addition, you will help identify and promote these services and programs to new and existing industries. 

As Account Manager, you will work closely with the customer service team, technical support, repair operations and the shipping team members to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction is achieved.  If you are a detail-oriented person that has a passion for providing a “white glove” service to all that you serve – we want to talk to you!

What’s the Job?
Account Management & Customer Service

  • Serve as the primary contact for customer accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers and key decision-makers.
  • Proactively communicate with customers regarding repair orders, service offerings, and account activity.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries, concerns, and service requests.
  • Conduct regular account reviews to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and account retention.
Business Development
  • Identify opportunities to expand existing customer relationships and increase revenue.
  • Promote NWRS repair, exchange, inventory management, and other value-added service offerings.
  • Develop and execute account growth plans for strategic customers.
  • Partner with leadership to identify and pursue new business opportunities in new industries.
  • Maintain awareness of market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity.
Collaboration & Operations
  • Work closely with Customer Service, Technical Support, Repair Operations, and Shipping teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Coordinate solutions for complex customer issues and escalations.
  • Assist customers with service recommendations, repair options, and program participation.
  • Support implementation of customer-specific processes and inventory management solutions.
  • Accurately maintain customer records, account notes, and pipeline activity within CRM systems.
Reporting & Performance
  • Track account performance, revenue growth, retention metrics, and customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare regular reports and account summaries for leadership.
  • Meet or exceed established sales, retention, and customer engagement goals.


What’s Needed?
  • 2+ years of account management, customer success and marketing experience.
  • Strong relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities.
  • Knowledge of office equipment, managed print services, copier/printer industries, electronics repair, or technical service organizations is desired.
