Senior Network Engineer

FinXL is seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to join our Cloud & Infrastructure consulting practice. In this engagement, you will be deployed with an enterprise Banking organisation on a high-profile network infrastructure project. The position will provide hands on network engineering support across the design, implementation, migration and ongoing support of our network infrastructure.

Responsibility

  • Provide hands on engineering support for network design, implementation, and migration.

  • Manage ongoing support and troubleshooting of critical enterprise network infrastructure.

  • Maintain comprehensive network documentation, technical standards, and configuration management.

  • Work independently to ensure high security, optimal performance, and robust connectivity.

  • Liaise effectively with technical stakeholders to solve complex networking problems.

  • Travel to designated sites and data centres as required to support the engagement.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Over 5 years of hands on network engineering and enterprise networking experience.

  • Expertise in Cisco Routing & Switching, including strong LAN/WAN capabilities.

  • Proficiency with Cisco Security (ASA, FTD/FMC), Wireless (WLC), and Cisco ISE.

  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, routing, and network security principles.

  • Desirable experience includes Zscaler, Cisco Nexus, F5 LTM/GTM, and Cisco ACI (SDN).

  • Relevant industry certifications such as CCNA or CCNP are highly advantageous.

  • Excellent independent troubleshooting and stakeholder communication skills.
