Job Description

Role: EMI/EMC Engineer Location: Rockford, IL Duration: Fulltime

Job Description:

  • Perform aerospace equipment qualification testing in accordance with DO-160 standard and test procedure shared by customer
  • Detailed understanding of each sub system to be qualified and interconnection within the system
  • Creation of EMC & Environmental test procedures and Test Reports per DO-160 standard, review and release to customers for test approval
  • Operate Electric systems test setups at third party EMC test labs for EMI/EMC testing
  • Support in performing EMC & Environmental tests per Test Procedures and review test reports
  • Expertise in resolving EMI/EMC & Environmental failures through circuit analysis and simulations
  • Test datasheets update during the testing and review with team, creation of Aerospace Engineering Report (AER) and release it to customer
