Native Plant Gardener/ Maintenance Crew Lead

Job Posting: Maintenance Crew Lead

Location: [Manor, TX]

At Terra Dura Landscapes, we aren't just mowing lawns; we are cultivating outdoor art. We specialize in Texas native plants and high-end residential and commercial maintenance. We pride ourselves on a vibrant, hard-working team culture where creativity meets craftsmanship. As we grow, we’re looking for someone who doesn't just want a job, but wants to help us build the premier landscape brand in Central Texas. Looking for a leader willing buckle down and get maintenance projects completed on time, but willing to offer next level service to our clients with expert gardening information.

The Role: Precision & Power We need a hybrid specialist—someone with the "soft touch" required for fine gardening and the "grit" to handle high-production maintenance. You will be responsible for ensuring our clients' properties look pristine year-round, blending horticultural knowledge with operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fine Gardening: Prune, weed, and maintain Texas native plants according to their specific seasonal needs.

• Turf Management: Efficiently operate riding mowers and power equipment to maintain large residential and commercial lawns within scheduled timeframes.

• Property Stewardship: Monitor plant health, soil conditions, and irrigation needs to provide proactive care.

• Business Growth: Act as a brand ambassador on-site, identifying opportunities for property enhancements and helping the team maintain a reputation for excellence.

• Native Plant Knowledge: Deep familiarity with Texas native species and their maintenance cycles.

• Equipment Proficiency: Skilled in operating riding mowers, blowers, and trimmers safely and quickly.

• The "Hybrid" Mindset: Willingness to pivot from meticulous hand-pruning to large-scale mowing without hesitation.

• Reliability: A track record of punctuality and hard work in the Texas heat.

• Growth Potential: An entrepreneurial spirit—you want to see the company succeed and grow alongside you.

• Compensation: $20 - $24 per hour (Based on experience)

• Benefits: 2 weeks PTO, Holiday Pay

• Environment: A supportive, energetic team where your input on plant care and business operations is actually heard.
