Machinist

YBI Recruiting is hiring 2nd and 3rd Shift Machinists on behalf of one of our premier manufacturing partners—an industry leader that designs and builds equipment powering the nation’s infrastructure. Key Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC machining equipment or Fiberglass machining
• Operate Gang drill, radial arm drill, punch press shear, and other machinery as needed
• Read blueprints, calipers, and determine & measure critical dimensions and tolerances
• Troubleshoot
• Operate overhead crane and hoist to position material at desired locations as well as fork truck as required
• Operate machine lathe, horizontal mill, keyseater, etc as needed
• Follow all established safety policies and practices
• Support APS initiatives - Lean Manufacturing
• Rotate responsibilities as needed

• High school diploma or GED

• Knowledge of programming and operating CNC equipment
• Degree in Machine Tool Technology or a minimum of 1+ years’ experience operating CNC machinery
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend written materials
• Basic computer usage skills
• Ability to use measuring equipment effectively
• Ability to perform moderate math calculations

• Compensation Range: Base pay for this position is $25.98 per hour plus there is a $2.50/hour shift differential!
