We are looking for an experienced  Support Engineer with strong expertise in DBT, Snowflake, IBM DB2, and IBM DataStage to provide production support for enterprise data platforms and data integration solutions.

The candidate will be responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, incident resolution, data quality assurance, and ensuring the reliability and performance of critical ETL pipelines and data warehouse systems.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, hands-on support experience, and the ability to work closely with business, data engineering, application, and infrastructure teams.

Key Responsibilities

Production Support

Provide L1/L2/L3 support for enterprise data warehouse and ETL applications.

Monitor ETL batch processes, data pipelines, and warehouse performance.

Investigate and resolve production incidents within agreed SLAs.

Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive actions.

Support daily, weekly, and monthly batch processing activities.

ETL Pipeline Support

Support and troubleshoot ETL jobs developed using IBM DataStage.

Monitor and resolve DBT job failures and dependency issues.

Validate data reconciliation and data quality issues.

Manage batch scheduling and workflow dependencies.

Perform impact assessment for changes and production deployments.

Database & Data Warehouse Support

Support Snowflake data warehouse environments.

Monitor DB2 database health, performance, and storage utilization.

Optimize SQL queries and ETL performance.

Troubleshoot data latency and data integrity issues.

Monitoring & Reporting

Perform proactive monitoring of ETL jobs and data pipelines.

Generate operational reports and support dashboards.

Identify recurring issues and drive automation opportunities.

Create support documentation, knowledge articles, and operational runbooks.

Change & Release Management

Support code migrations across environments.

Validate deployments and post-production verification activities.

Participate in change management and CAB reviews.
