As an Electronics Engineer / Embedded Developer, you will:<br /><br />- Design circuits for sensors and process instrumentation<br />- Write high-quality C code for new and existing products<br />- Build, test and maintain our embedded firmware<br />- Create prototypes of new instrumentation<br />- Ensure that any issues are resolved quickly<br /><br /><strong>About You</strong><br /><br />To be considered as an Electronics Engineer / Embedded Developer, you'll need experience in the following:<br /><br />- Designing electronics to meet regulatory requirements, including EMC and LVD<br />- Building, testing and maintaining firmware and hardware using ARM microcontrollers<br />- Planning and designing the architecture and prototyping of new firmware<br />- Maintaining and fixing bare-metal embedded C firmware<br /><br />It would be great if you had experience with the following, but this isn't essential:<br /><br />- A good science education<br />- KiCad for PCB design<br />- RTOS software development<br />- User interface implementation using LVGL<br /><br />Other organisations may call this role Electronics Engineer, Embedded Software Engineer, Embedded Systems Engineer, Embedded Developer, Firmware Engineer, Embedded Firmware Engineer, Electronic Design Engineer, or Electronics Design Engineer.<br /><br />Webrecruit and Process Instruments are equal opportunities employers, value diversity and are strongly committed to providing equal employment opportunities for all employees and all applicants for employment.
