Job Description

Position Summary
The Human Resources Coordinator provides administrative and operational support for CAM’s Human Resources department. This position assists with onboarding, employee records, benefits administration, recruiting coordination, payroll support, and employee communications. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, discretion, and a professional, service-oriented approach.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Coordinate new hire onboarding, including pre-employment screenings, new hire paperwork, orientation scheduling, and communication with hiring managers. Enter and maintain employee information in ADP and other applicable systems, including new hires, employment changes, and separations. Maintain accurate personnel files and HR records in accordance with company procedures and applicable retention requirements. Assist with Form I-9 completion, document tracking, and employment eligibility verification procedures.

Support recruiting by assisting with interviews if needed. Assist employees with routine benefits enrollment questions and coordinate unresolved issues with HR leadership or benefit providers. Support open enrollment by distributing materials, tracking required information, and assisting with employee communications. Assist with payroll preparation by gathering approved changes, reviewing information for completeness, and coordinating corrections with the appropriate team members. Track onboarding requirements, training completion, and other employee documentation.

Assist with offboarding, including separation paperwork, system notifications, and coordination of company property return. Prepare routine HR reports, employee rosters, and other requested information. Help coordinate employee recognition, company events, and HR communications. Respond to routine employee inquiries and refer to sensitive or complex matters to HR leadership. Maintain confidentiality of employees, compensation, benefits, and company information. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Associate or bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
One to three years of experience in human resources, administrative support, or a related role preferred.
Experience with ADP or another HR information system preferred.
Experience supporting engineering, fabrication, construction, or oil and gas organization is a plus.
Physical and Work Requirements
This position primarily works in an office environment and requires frequent computer use, sitting, and communication with employees and managers. Occasional visits to other company locations may be required. Essential functions may be performed with or without reasonable accommodation.
