Senior SharePoint Developer

DGH Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading client in the Professional Services industry who require a Senior SharePoint Developer to join the firm in London.

You will design, develop, administer, and modernize their SharePoint environments across on-premise and cloud platforms, combining hands-on custom development with enterprise platform administration, including system maintenance, updates, patching, governance, and intranet design.

Responsibilities:

* Define and own the SharePoint architecture roadmap across SharePoint SE and SharePoint Online.
* Lead modernization initiatives moving classic SharePoint experiences to modern SharePoint.
* Design and develop enterprise-scale solutions using SPFx, React, TypeScript, JavaScript, Microsoft Graph APIs, and REST APIs.
* Design and maintain enterprise on-premise and cloud SharePoint platforms, including site architecture, navigation, branding, and content structure.
* Administer SharePoint SE (on-prem) and SharePoint Online tenants: service applications, web applications, site collections, site topology, permissions, authentication, and governance policies.
* Own the end-to-end support model for SharePoint platforms and custom solutions.
* Perform regular system updates, cumulative updates, patches, and service packs to maintain platform stability, security, and compliance.
* Monitor environments for performance, availability, capacity, and reliability; manage storage quotas and site lifecycle.

Required Skills:

* Extensive hands-on experience administering and developing solutions for SharePoint Subscription Edition (SE) and SharePoint Online.
* Proven expertise in SharePoint Framework (SPFx) development.
* Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, React, HTML5, CSS3, and modern front-end development practices.
* Strong experience integrating SharePoint solutions using RESTful APIs and Microsoft Graph.
* Solid experience with C# and .NET Framework for backend and integration development.
* Hands-on experience administering SharePoint on-prem environments, including patching, upgrades, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
* Strong experience with SQL Server design, development, and optimization.
