The Role • Operate specialized heavy equipment (hostlers, cranes, top loaders, side loaders) for loading and unloading shipping containers. • Drive hostlers to precisely position containers and chassis within the intermodal yard. • Stack, move, and organize containers according to operational needs. • Conduct pre- and post-operation equipment inspections to ensure safety and functionality. • Coordinate with yard personnel and supervisors to manage daily tasks and container movements. • Maintain a safe and compliant work environment by adhering to established protocols. What You'll Need • A valid driver's license is mandatory for this position. • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks. • Willingness to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays. • Strong commitment to safety protocols and meticulous attention to detail. • Basic communication skills and the capacity to collaborate effectively within a team. • Ability to pass background verification, physical, and drug screening.
