Job Description :

Responsibilities

• Work through scanning tool results in ServiceNow, analyze and prioritize remediation efforts based on risk level: Critical, High, Medium and exploitability
• Collaborate with stakeholders and 3 rd party vendors to identify, schedule, and implement application security fixes
• Address common application vulnerabilities through automation
• Track progress of related items such as vulnerability tickets, security exceptions and follow up with stakeholders and 3 rd party vendors to ensure timely resolution
• Provide advisory support and process walkthroughs to facilitate resolution of application vulnerabilities
• Coordinate with application teams and submit change requests to remediate application vulnerabilities
• Coordinate and assist application teams with opening tickets with 3 rd party vendors
• Experience administering and supporting a major operating system such as Windows Server
• Experience writing advance shell scripts such as Bash or PowerShell
• Experience supporting Java applications, .Net, PostgreSQL, Apache Tomcat
• Experience with network security protocols such as SSL, TLS, and AES encryption
• Experience with OWASP TOP 10 standards
• Experience with ServiceNow vulnerability module
• Experience with application vulnerability assessment and prioritization
• Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of responsibility and authority
• Minimum two years of system administration experience
• Bachelor s degree from an accredited college or university
