- Provide hands-on quality support for PDU, RPP, and switchgear manufacturing, including wiring, torque, busbar, grounding, labeling, workmanship, and configuration verification.
- Review drawings, electrical schematics, bills of material, specifications, work instructions, and engineering changes for clear and verifiable quality requirements.
Non-Conformance & Corrective Action
- Lead investigations of internal, supplier, test, field, and customer quality issues using tools such as 5 Whys, Ishikawa, and 8D.
- Manage NCR, MRB, containment, corrective action, and effectiveness-verification activities through closure.
- Analyze defect, rework, scrap, first-pass yield, and right-first-time data to identify trends and improvement priorities.
QMS, Audits & Compliance
- Support implementation and maintenance of an ISO 9001-aligned Quality Management System, including document control, internal audits, risk-based thinking, and continual improvement.
- Support compliance with applicable customer, UL, electrical, and product requirements, including UL 891 where applicable.
Supplier & Customer Quality
- Support supplier qualification, performance monitoring, corrective actions, and improvement activities for critical electrical and mechanical components.
- Investigate customer complaints and field issues, coordinate containment, prepare technical responses, and verify corrective-action effectiveness.
Continuous Improvement
- Use quality tools, process data, and shop-floor observation to reduce defects, rework, variation, and manufacturing risk.
- Support first-of-a-kind builds, prototypes, new product introduction, and employee training on inspection criteria and defect prevention.
Detailed Responsibilities

- Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
- 5–7 years of Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related manufacturing quality experience.
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001, internal auditing, non-conformance control, corrective action, and risk-based quality planning.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, electrical schematics, bills of material, specifications, and acceptance criteria.
- Experience with root cause analysis, statistical process control, process capability, FMEA, control plans, and continuous improvement.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively across functions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with ERP, QMS, or manufacturing data systems.
