Job Description

Travel PCU / Intermediate Care Registered Nurse (RN) - Charlotte, NC

We’re hiring an experienced PCU / Intermediate Care Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in Charlotte, NC. This is a fast-paced intermediate care unit caring for cardiac, medical/surgical, renal, pulmonary, and post-procedural patients.

Position Details

Travel Pay: $1,824.57/week
36 hours/week
3x12-hour night shifts: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
20-week contract
Start Date: October 5, 2026
Every other weekend required
Self-scheduling based on unit needs
Floating required, including Cardiac Telemetry as needed

2+ years of PCU / Intermediate Care / Stepdown experience required
Previous travel experience required; No first-time travelers
Current BLS, ACLS and NIHSS
Epic experience required
Telemetry experience
IV starts and peripheral line management
Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
Non-invasive airway management
Post-cardiac cath and post-cardiac/vascular surgical experience
Must pass EKG testing prior to start
