Job Description

Be the welcoming face of a team making a difference.

The Recovery Village Salem is looking for a compassionate, organized, and professional Receptionist to join our team in Salem, Oregon. In this role, you’ll be an important first point of contact for patients, families, visitors, and team members — helping create a welcoming, respectful environment from the moment someone walks through our doors.

The Recovery Village Salem provides comprehensive treatment for adults experiencing substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. Our team is committed to creating a safe, supportive environment where individuals can focus on their recovery while receiving evidence-based, compassionate care.

About Our Organization

This position supports one of the trusted behavioral health programs within Advanced Recovery Systems, the parent organization of The Recovery Village, Promises Behavioral Health, The Right Step, and The Ranch. Together, these established treatment brands share a commitment to expanding access to high-quality, evidence-based addiction and mental health care.

While you may work primarily with The Recovery Village Salem, you’ll be part of a growing organization focused on improving patient outcomes, supporting our employees, and strengthening the communities we serve.

What you’ll do

  • Welcome patients, visitors, and guests in a warm and professional manner.
  • Manage incoming calls, voicemail messages, and communications, ensuring messages reach the appropriate team members.
  • Maintain accurate visitor and employee sign-in/sign-out logs and manage visitor badges.

  • Maintain awareness of staff locations to help direct visitors and communications efficiently.
  • Order and maintain office supplies for departments throughout the facility.
  • Maintain filing systems and assist with administrative projects.
  • Attend staff meetings as needed and collaborate with team members across departments.
  • Protect the confidentiality and privacy of patients and their families.
  • Follow company policies, procedures, and applicable standards while supporting other duties as assigned.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a professional office setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional, welcoming, and customer-service-oriented approach.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a busy healthcare environment.
  • Business-related higher education is preferred, but not required.

Schedule: Monday–Friday

  • Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance options.
  • Health Savings Account (HSA) with company matching contributions of up to $1,500 annually for eligible employees enrolled in an HDHP.
  • 24/7 telemedicine and behavioral health resources through MDLIVE for eligible employees and dependents enrolled in a medical plan.
