Job Description

Job Title: Frontend / UI Lead Developer

Location: Nashville, TN

Duration: 8 Months + Extension

Bill Rate: $78/hour

Job Type: W-2 Contract

Required Experience & Skills

  • 8+ years of frontend engineering experience, including enterprise-scale delivery and distributed teams.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in Angular and ReactJS.
  • Strong TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and SCSS skills.
  • Experience with UI/component libraries:
    • Angular Material
    • Material UI
    • Bootstrap or equivalent
  • Strong state-management experience with NgRx, Redux, or Context API.
  • Ability to build reusable UI components and design systems.
  • Experience integrating frontend applications with REST APIs, microservices, and enterprise backend services using JSON, OAuth2, and JWT.
  • Experience with cloud-hosted applications, preferably AWS, and cloud-native modernization.
  • Proficiency in:
    • Git
    • CI/CD pipelines
    • Automated testing
    • Observability
    • Performance tuning
    • Secure coding practices
  • Strong troubleshooting, estimation, stakeholder management, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work onsite in Plano, TX and collaborate across offshore teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting applications with a large enterprise user base.
  • Exposure to Node.js, micro-frontends, modern build tooling, containerized deployments, and frontend architecture modernization.
  • Experience in automotive, retail, dealer, customer experience, or similarly complex enterprise domains.
