Description Summary:

The Site Foreman plays a crucial role in overseeing construction projects in Victoria, ensuring that work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This position requires strong leadership skills and a thorough understanding of building and construction processes, making it essential for the successful execution of projects in the region.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily site activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
• Manage and lead a team of construction workers, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality workmanship.
• Monitor project progress and report on any issues or delays to the project manager.
• Ensure that materials and equipment are available and in good condition for the work being performed.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to project specifications and quality standards.
• Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to facilitate smooth project execution.
• Maintain accurate records of site activities, including daily logs, safety reports, and progress updates.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Site Foreman or in a similar supervisory role within the building and construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and building codes.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Relevant certifications in construction management or safety (e.g., White Card, First Aid) are preferred.
