Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Guidewire PolicyCenter Developer with strong hands-on experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter, Gosu, PCF, business rules, workflows, data models, and system integrations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Property & Casualty (P&C) or Commercial Lines insurance and experience developing, customizing, and supporting PolicyCenter applications. Experience with the Guidewire Cloud Platform and cloud migration/upgrades is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, customize, and enhance Guidewire PolicyCenter applications.
• Develop and maintain PCF/Page Configuration components and user interfaces.
• Develop Gosu-based business logic, business rules, and workflows.
• Work with PolicyCenter data models and configurations.
• Develop and support integrations between PolicyCenter and external systems.
• Build and maintain REST/SOAP APIs and web services.
• Integrate PolicyCenter with billing systems, claims systems, rating engines, and other external platforms.
• Implement and support Guidewire Cloud Platform upgrades and migration activities.
• Troubleshoot application issues, perform defect resolution, and provide production support.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, QA teams, architects, and business stakeholders.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and deliver sprint stories within project timelines.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of hands-on Guidewire development experience
• Strong experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter
• Strong hands-on experience with Gosu
• Experience with PCF / Page Configuration
• Experience with Guidewire Business Rules / Rules Engine
• Experience with PolicyCenter Workflows
• Experience with Guidewire Data Model
• Strong experience with REST and SOAP APIs
• Experience developing Guidewire integrations
• Strong understanding of Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance
• Experience with Commercial Lines insurance is preferred
• Experience with Guidewire Cloud Platform is highly preferred
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodology
