Chiller Engineer

Our client is a well-established specialist in commercial heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration, with over 50 years of industry experience. They are looking for an experienced Chiller Service Engineer to join their field-based engineering team, covering the South of England. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, commissioning and repairing a range of commercial and industrial chiller and HVAC systems. The role will also involve technical troubleshooting, project support and dilapidation reporting. There is currently a 1 in 19 call-out rota. Key Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and commission commercial and industrial chiller and HVAC systems.
• Diagnose and repair refrigeration, mechanical and electrical faults.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and inspections.
• Troubleshoot compressors, condensers, evaporators, refrigeration cycles and control systems.
• Attend breakdowns and resolve technical issues.
• Complete accurate service reports and documentation.
• Provide technical support to clients and colleagues.
• Assist with technical projects, troubleshooting and dilapidation reports.
• Work safely and in line with relevant regulations and company procedures. Requirements
• Previous experience working with chiller equipment.
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration, HVAC and chiller systems.
• F-Gas certification – essential.
• Relevant engineering qualifications such as NVQs or equivalent.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Full UK driving licence. Benefits
