We are currently seeking skilled Travel Registered Nurses specializing in Operating Room (OR) care to join our dynamic team. As a Travel RN in the Operating Room, you will deliver expert perioperative nursing care in diverse surgical settings, working alongside multidisciplinary surgical teams. This role emphasizes adaptability, clinical proficiency, and a commitment to patient safety in high-pressure environments. TRITAL Care supports you throughout your assignments with seamless credentialing, scheduling, and ongoing recruiter communication, helping you focus on delivering superior patient care wherever your assignment takes you.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care in the operating room before, during, and after surgical procedures.
- Assist surgical teams by preparing the OR environment and ensuring sterile conditions.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to intraoperative changes promptly and effectively.
- Apply knowledge of surgical instruments and techniques to support surgical procedures.
- Document all nursing interventions and patient responses accurately and timely.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and efficient surgical outcomes.
- Maintain compliance with hospital protocols, safety guidelines, and healthcare regulations.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state(s) of assignment.
- A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in operating room nursing or perioperative care.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
- Strong understanding of sterile techniques and operating room procedures.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively within surgical teams.
- Demonstrated flexibility and willingness to travel for temporary assignments across various healthcare facilities.
