Position Summary

4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Software Developers to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The candidate will be responsible for:

Analyze production incidents and application issues, identify root causes, and develop, test, and deploy SQL solutions to restore functionality and maintain reliable business operations.

Design, develop, and maintain Oracle PL/SQL components, including stored procedures, packages, functions, triggers, cursors, views, and materialized views to support business rules and data-processing requirements.

Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, perform database performance tuning, and troubleshoot issues involving large volumes of data, relational structures, indexes, and database objects.

Conduct unit and functional testing of database changes, document technical solutions, validate data integrity, and support implementation and ongoing maintenance of database-driven applications.

Minimum Qualifications

The position requires:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience:

Experience in Oracle database development, SQL and PL/SQL programming, production issue resolution, query optimization, database testing, and technical documentation.

Technical Skills:

Oracle Database, PL/SQL, SQL Development, Stored Procedures, Packages and Functions, Triggers and Cursors, Views and Materialized Views, Query Optimization, Performance Tuning, Relational Database Management

Business / Domain Skills:

Experience supporting enterprise business applications that rely on relational databases for data processing, transaction management, reporting, and operational workflows.

Experience designing, developing, enhancing, and integrating enterprise applications, APIs, interfaces, workflows, batch processes, and data-processing components supporting government programs.

Experience analyzing production data issues, validating business rules, maintaining referential integrity, and resolving database-related problems that affect application functionality and business operations.

Experience supporting database-driven business processes through SQL development, data validation, application testing, production troubleshooting, and coordination with technical and business stakeholders.

Communication:

Ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders.

Documentation:

Ability to prepare project documentation, status updates, and deliverables.

Work Authorization:

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship may be considered where permitted by company policy and project requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate complex database issues and deliver effective solutions.

Experience working with large datasets, optimizing database performance, and maintaining reliable and efficient database-driven applications.

Oracle-approved database certifications or relevant technical training are preferred. Strong documentation and communication skills are beneficial.
