Our client is looking for an Cloud Ops Engineer for a project and below is the detailed requirement.

Job Title: Cloud Ops Engineer

Location: Remote

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Cloud Computing, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of experience in Cloud Infrastructure, Cloud Operations, DevOps, or related roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud, particularly from a production operations and infrastructure perspective.
• Strong working knowledge of Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Linux systems, including deployment, troubleshooting, monitoring, upgrades, and production support.
• Extensive experience with Azure infrastructure and networking services including VNet, Subnets, Network Security Groups, Virtual Machines, Private Endpoints, Service Endpoints, and PaaS infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Front Door, Traffic Manager, Azure DDoS Protection, Azure Firewall, WAF, Application Gateway, and Azure Load Balancer.
• Strong understanding of Azure security architecture, network security, firewall policies, vulnerability remediation, and secure cloud infrastructure.
• Strong hands-on experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC), including developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Terraform configurations.
• Experience with CI/CD automation using Azure DevOps, along with GitHub workflows and source control.
• Strong scripting and automation experience using Python and/or Bash.
• Experience supporting production operations, deployments, releases, cutovers, migrations, and go-live activities in enterprise environments.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across Azure infrastructure, Kubernetes, Linux, networking, security, and application connectivity.
• Exposure to Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and related Azure services is preferred.
• Experience with Oracle Database@Azure, particularly Oracle Exadata, is a strong plus.
• Experience with Exadata infrastructure including OS patching, cluster infrastructure, networking, storage, backup, and infrastructure support is highly preferred.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and cross-team collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership of operational commitments, and continuously learn new technologies and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and support Azure cloud infrastructure and production environments with a strong focus on availability, reliability, performance, and security.
• Provide hands-on operational support for Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), including troubleshooting, deployments, upgrades, monitoring, and production incident resolution.
• Design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot Azure networking components including VNets, subnets, NSGs, private endpoints, service endpoints, load balancers, Application Gateway, Front Door, Traffic Manager, WAF, and DDoS protection.
• Manage and maintain Azure Firewall, security policies, network security controls, and vulnerability remediation activities.
• Develop and maintain Terraform Infrastructure as Code for Azure infrastructure provisioning and operational automation.
• Build, maintain, and support CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub workflows to automate infrastructure and application deployments.
