Graduate Operations/Middle Office Analyst (6-Month Contract) Investment Banking

We are seeking a motivated Graduate Analyst for a 6-month contract opportunity with a leading investment banking client. This role would suit an individual who has completed a relevant internship within financial services, investment banking, asset management, or a fund administration environment and is looking to build on their experience within a fast-paced markets operation.

The successful candidate will have previous exposure to Middle Office, Trade Support, Investment Operations, Fund Administration, Settlements, Reconciliations, Client Services, or a similar operational function. Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to work with large volumes of data are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting day-to-day Middle Office and operational activities
• Trade life cycle monitoring and exception management
• Investigating and resolving reconciliation breaks
• Working closely with Front Office, Risk, Operations and external counterparties
• Assisting with reporting, data analysis and process improvement initiatives
• Maintaining accurate records and ensuring adherence to controls

Requirements:

• Degree educated (Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Business or similar)
• Prior internship or placement experience within an investment bank, asset manager, fund administrator, custodian bank or financial services firm
• Strong Excel skills and high attention to detail
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
