The Role

• Collaborate with finance and accounting directors to ensure accurate and timely recording of journal entries and transactions.
• Serve as a resource for accountants, providing guidance and training on transaction recording and policies.
• Perform day-to-day accounting tasks for assigned communities, stepping in for those without dedicated staff.
• Prepare daily cash account reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly reconciliations for assigned balance sheet and income statement accounts.
• Identify and resolve accounting issues, implementing controls to prevent recurrence.
• Assist in the preparation of month-end, quarterly, and annual reports, consolidations, and other reporting needs.
• Support budget, forecasting, and audit processes.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum of five years of accounting experience, or a combination of education and experience.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP.
