The Role

• Operate specialized heavy equipment, including hostlers, cranes, and top loaders, to move shipping containers.
• Load and unload containers from railcars and trucks securely and efficiently.
• Safely stack, relocate, and organize containers within the intermodal yard.
• Conduct pre- and post-operation equipment inspections to ensure safety and functionality.
• Collaborate with yard personnel and supervisors to coordinate daily logistics operations.
• Maintain a safe and compliant work environment by adhering to all established procedures.

What You'll Need

• A valid driver's license is mandatory for this position.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50lbs and climbing.
• Commitment to a safety-first approach with strong attention to detail.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Essential communication skills for effective teamwork.
• Previous experience in heavy equipment operation or a similar industrial setting is preferred.
