Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Snowflake and DBT to design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-based data pipelines and data warehouse solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong SQL and data modeling skills and experience working with modern ELT/ETL frameworks.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience in Data Engineering / Data Warehousing.
• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake.
• Strong hands-on experience with DBT (Data Build Tool).
• Advanced SQL skills, including query optimization and performance tuning.
• Strong understanding of ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Experience developing DBT models, macros, tests, snapshots, and documentation.
• Experience with Python for data processing and automation.
• Experience working with structured and semi-structured data such as JSON and Parquet.
• Experience troubleshooting and optimizing production data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ELT/ETL pipelines using Snowflake and DBT.
• Develop reusable and optimized DBT models, transformations, macros, tests, and snapshots.
• Write complex SQL queries and perform query/performance optimization.
• Build data ingestion and transformation workflows from multiple enterprise data sources.
• Implement data quality checks and validation using DBT and other testing frameworks.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production pipeline issues.
• Optimize Snowflake workloads for performance, scalability and cost.
• Translate business requirements into technical data solutions.
• Maintain technical documentation for data pipelines, models and processes.
